KPIS always wants to maintain a strong team of employees who are dedicated to the mission and philosophy of the school. We offer employment opportunities throughout the school year, which operates from late-August until late-June, for homeroom teachers and teacher assistants as well as administrative staff. We usually recruit for the new school year in early spring of the current school year. However, there may be occasions when openings become available within the school year. - Knowledge of teaching methods and child psychology
- A teaching certificate
- A minimum two years of teaching experience
- English fluency
- Commitment to a one-year contract
- Japanese residence or visa
- A successful personal interview with the Director/Principal
- A successful demonstration lesson with assigned class
Teacher Assistant Requirements:
- A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science
- A minimum two years of teaching experience
- English fluency
- Commitment to a one-year contract

- A successful trial work day with assigned class
Afternoon Program Teacher Requirements:
